The Singapore Branch of China Construction Bank was registered on 17 September 1997. The Branch commenced its operations on 26 March 1998, under an offshore banking license with an Asian Currency Unit granted by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. On 12 January 2006, the Branch has successfully re-registered with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority under the name, China Construction Bank Corporation, Singapore Branch.

The Singapore Branch is headed by the General Manager, Mr Jin Yu. Mr Jin is assisted by the Deputy General Manager, Mr Yuan Sheng Rui.
